What is the Polar Film Fest?
After the success of Polar Film Fests 2016 and 2017, US APECS is organizing the third Polar Film Fest for 2018, which is taking place during International Polar Week. To follow the previous PFF the five days of the Film Fest (September 18-22) will showcase films about the Arctic, Antarctic, and wider cryosphere.
2018 PFF themes:
1) Tipping the Balance: Exploring rapid changes in polar ice cover
2) Polar Research, Fieldwork, and Citizen Science
3) Melt: An Exploration of Life in the Polar Ice Pack
4) Environmental Issues in the Polar regions
